After four years being away from the charts, Duran Duran is back as "Electric Barbarella" debuts at number 19 on the singles chart. The British band is now tied with Electric Light Orchestra for having the most top 50 singles without ever hitting number one. Both groups have a total of 16 top 50 hits. Duran Duran came close to hitting number one three times. In 1983, the band's first hit single, "Hungry Like The Wolf" spent five weeks at number two while "Ordinary World" and "Come Undone" also stopped at the same position in 1993. In comparison, ELO went to number two once with the 1981 hit, "Hold On Tight". Despite having their two number two hits in the 1990s, Duran Duran's heydays were in the 1980s when they had a total of thirteen top 50 singles. Among their hits in that decade, seven reaching the top ten: "Hungry Like The Wolf" (#2, 1983), "Union Of The Snake" (#7, 1984), "The Reflex" (#4, 1984), "The Wild Boys" (#4, 1984), "A View To A Kill" (#4, 1985), "Notorious" (#7, 1987), "I Don't Want Your Love" (#10, 1988)
