Updated 22 September 1998

Nick bumped into Stephen "Tin Tin" Duffy at a Vivienne Westwood party in London at the beginning of July. It was the first time in many years the two had seen another. Since then they have met up and caught up on old times. For those who don't know, Stephen was the first singer for Duran Duran.

There is a great interview Nick did with "myLaunch" from a couple of months ago on our web site, or if you don't have internet access, it'll be in Issue #25. It's good!

Nick is in the new issue (March) of Elle Magazine (US). There is a recent picture too!

Nick is in the March issue of US Elle.

John is in the March issue of UK Elle.

There is a small picture of Nick in the March issue of Keyboard (hard to miss: bright yellow cover) looking at a copy of the January issue of Keyboard, which he of course was in.

A new fanzine, called SAINT NICK, is starting up. Go HERE for more info. The premiere issue is scheduled for January, 1998!!!! If you're interested, you can visit our site.

Nick has a page (no photo) in the current Interview (with Cherlize Theron on the cover) talking about the Liquid Audio download availability. There's also a letter at the front from someone "Duranting and Duraving" about the Medazzaland review a few issues back, which I'm sure you all will remember was really mean-spirited.

Be sure to check out the November issue of Detour magazine (with Ethan Hawke on the cover, due on newsstands October 15). It features an interview with Nick, who sarcastically says of the departures of John Taylor, Andy Taylor, and Roger Taylor: "It took us 17 years, but we finally got rid of them all." Funny, ha ha...

This was found in the October 7 CyberSleaze: WE ALWAYS KNEW THEY WERE CLOSET DRAG QUEENS QUOTE OF THE DAY: "There's nothing strange about it - men want to look good as much as women do." - DURAN DURAN guitarist NICK RHODES (yes, we know, we know, but it's CyberSleaze, for God's sake, what did you expect, the New York Times? -ed. note), famous for prancing around in pink lipstick in the 1980s, explains the reasoning behind the band's newly launched line of cosmetics. Their first beauty product will be Electric Barbarella nail varnish, which is also named after their new single.
