For all the picture collectors out there, the OK! Magazine out the weekend of March 7 (with the queen mum on the front) has more London fashion week bits, with three Yasmin photos, one on the catwalk, one posing at a party photo shoot, then another poor quality one of her dancing with Saffron and Tallulah, although you can't see their faces.

Yasmin does a lovely several-page spread in the April FHM Magazine, and she's not wearing very many clothes! There's an interview with her, too; it's worth the money!

Hello! #498, dated February 28 (with Prince Andrew on the cover), had a brief mention of Yasmin in the article on the Versace Tribute fashion show.

We, theICON, are mentioned in the Goldmine Annual Collectors Buying Guide, available at Borders! Wow!

Anthony Resta and Micael Troy of the " Beloved Few" have a song in the Jan. 26 episode of Melrose Place Called, "Symphony of Ships".

Naomi Campbell has enlisted the support of supermodels YASMIN LeBON and Amber Valetta for her tribute to slain fashion designer Gianni Versace. The British catwalk queen is staging a gala dinner and fashion show in South Africa on Valentine's Day which will also raise money for the Nelson Mandela Children's Fund.

 Power Station

A Power Station show was recently webcast on www.liveconcerts.com. We liked this announcement, we thought we'd just keep the whole thing, so for those of you who missed out on the webcast and still care about Robert Palmer and his backup band, this is what you missed:

 POWER STATION & MARILLION - DECEMBER 10TH @ 6:30 PM

80's rock is alive and well! Velvel Records recording artists, the enigmatic Marillion, prove why they have one of the most dedicated fan bases in the industry. British superband Power Station, fresh off their Guardian released "Living in Fear" tour, are proving that, as they put it, "We'll play anywhere to anybody."

 Roger News

The new release from Freebass, Roger's new band, has been pushed back until January. Don't expect a release (import or otherwise) until at least sometime in January, as even their record label doesn't have any additional information (and no, it's not Capitol!).

Apparently, Roger's band's new song has been doing brilliantly in the clubs, but for some reason the main radio stations are not interested!

So the single will not be released until the New Year, when it will be re-edited, also there will be another release in the New Year. No more tour dates as yet. Most clubs in the UK has copies, so anyone in the UK at a club should request it!

Possibly a release on a compilation CD in the USA in the future. The LP and single are not out yet, however, so don't believe any posts that say otherwise!

For everyone who wonders what Roger Taylor, the long-departed original drummer for Duran, is doing nowadays, here's the scoop, courtesy of the Plastic Girl fanzine (check out their advert in Issue #24!): Roger's new band is called Freebass, consisting of Roger, Mark Anthony (ex-Fuzzbox), and solo artists Jake Udo and Brittany. They've been recording in Birmingham for quite a while and have already played a couple of shows. The first single is due out late October or early November on 12", 10" and CD single. Apparently there will be a video which will include Roger. We aren't sure whether or not the single will be released in America, but we'll let you know as soon as we find out. The style of the music is dance-techno-"drum and bass".

 Miscellaneous

Supposedly Renee Toft Simonsen is pregnant with her boyfriend Danish popsinger Thomas Helmig. That'll make it her third and his second child.

This was found in the October 17 CyberSleaze, not exactly the best at fact checking:

Keanu Reeves has fueled speculation that his on-off relationship with Amanda De Cadanet is definitely on. The couple turned up together at the Los Angeles premiere of his new movie "Devil's Advocate" Monday night to face the world's press. But both the "Speed" star and the busty blonde British actress were staying tight-lipped on a possible engagement at the swanky launch of the thriller in Westwood, Beverly Hills. But Reeves did admit he loves De Cadenet, who shares his Hollywood hillside home with him. He said, "I love Amanda very dearly. In Hollywood it is very important to have a friendship and it is great we can share things like this premiere." Rumors became rife that the two were a couple when De Cadenet split from former Duran Duran heartthrob John Taylor and moved in with Reeves. But with De Cadenet concentrating on her movie career while bringing up her five-year-old daughter Atlanta, she appreciates Reeves's friendship. She adds, "It's hard to be a working mum anywhere if you work a nine-to-five or you act. You just have to prioritize but it is easier when you have friends around."

Is Yasmin still modelling? YES, she is, and in fact has recently done Dorothy Perkins' current advertising campain, and has her face every where with it, in magazines, posters, shop windows etc, still looking young and beautiful.

And also she had a part in a comedy film as a model in Paris, with Dawn French on British TV just this week.

This was found on VH1's Web Site:

For former model Ellen Von Unwerth, engaging the camera has always been simple. She now seduces her subjects into sultry and coquettish poses, often in with surroundings. Von Unwerth, like Ritts, was persuaded to go into video by one of her subjects. She's worked with the likes of Salt N' Pepa, Nancy Boy and most recently the once fab five of the 80's, Duran Duran. In "Electric Barbarella," her hallucinatory illustration of the song stars a blow-up doll (an actual model) who wreaks havoc on the boys when she's ordered to obey. Von Unwerth describes video as an extension of her photographic work. "I think fashion, music and photography are meshed together. For a while Courtney Love's independent style was inspiring designers, but now it's going back to where fashion's influencing videos: you have Fiona Apple's video 'Criminal' echoing fashion editorials, and artists wanting to wear Dolce & Gabanna and Gucci."
